Cedric has been a HUGE fan of Sabaton since 2018- we missed a few tours because he was YOUNG at first- literally 8. Then the pandemic.. then…. the pandemic. They are a Swedish Metal band- so they aren’t touring the US constantly.
But this year they came to Michigan- in Kalamazoo- and we were able to get tickets in a crazy ticket frenzy back in November. So Jared and Cedric made the 3 hour trip over! This is the first time they went this far together without the family. Cedric and I went on a trip to Utah without the family once, so he is now the only child to get a solo trip with either parent.
The line to enter-
They ended up being quite close and on the floor… which is shocking because we felt like we didnt even look at any of that while trying to get tickets. They were selling out rom under us and we ended up grab and dashing.
I asked them to let me know how they were and I got this:
Jared was really so happy the whole night watching Cedric get the METAL experience. The crowd was awesome, too- all positive experiences. He got a LOT of recommended bands and albums from some of the people around them that have been around.
They both thought Sabaton was so good. A solid performance. The other cool part is that they were opening for JUDAS PRIEST.
