One of the very lovely (and sometimes frustrating) things about having traveled so much and lived so many places- we got familiar with foods that are hard to find.
Keira, especially, as she was older when we lived in California and travelled in the RV. But what Olive and Cedric may not have been as familiar with- they still got used to certain things being in the home. The experiences also made them more open to trying things and exploring locally.
Cedric recently got into making traditional Yerba Mate. He has a gourd + bombilla and has been trying a variety of blends from online sources. Through his research- he found
International Foods- and now we have a new place that we have to shop. From harder to find meat cuts I love to cook- Grass fed Ox Tail- to endless feta options. We are all in love.
Since Keira’s birthday is coming up- and her particularly STRONG nostalgia is around the time we lived in Foster City across the street from 99 ranch market- we went to
H Mart to get her some surprise presents ( not pictured for surprise reasons) 🙂 .
Cedric ultimately got two new blends and a new straw.
